The qualification has a core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as specialist fields of brick and block work covering work in residential and commercial applications. CTC Training Program is flexible and focuses on matching your learning progress, with the on-the-job experience you gain week to week.
Depending on your location, CTC offers classroom-based or online learning programs. In either case, CTC Trainers are directly available to all trainees and apprentices – and their employers will be regularly advised of the apprentice’s course progress, engagement and attendance, with a full report issued each term.
The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context.
